Scale model of the ergonomic 'Contoura' chaise designed by Henry Glass in 1962 for the Contour Chair Lounge Co. of St. Louis. The model features a working mechanism
for positioning the chair as well as armrests that flip up and down. Glass was a Cleveland industrial designer and architect who worked with Gilbert Rohde in NYC
in the late 1930's, and spent much of his career developing visionary projects such as sustainable and modular housing, and pneumatic and folding furniture.
